So I kinda want to produce a duet album with a singer. I’ve put out the word and dropped a few lines, hoping to secure a female lead. I’ve heard back from one friend of mine (who I won’t name since nothing’s set in stone). I also doodled up an idea for an album cover. Negative space rocks.

I Need Money, therefore...
I’m considering doing up a Munny doll (or multiple) to sell. I’ve found that a lot of my favourite low-budget artists (visual and musical) usually end up selling stuff to pay for their craft. Unfortunately, I just really don’t have a whole lot to begin with so that’s really not an option.
But before I make this investment into startup capital, who would be interested in buying one from me? Take into account that after customisation, I’ll probably let these go for in the neighbourhood of $50USD. Also, I live between Toronto and Cayman so if you’re lucky enough to be in either of these, you can probably avoid shipping. Otherwise, you’ve gotta fork up for that too.

Progress check. This is what I’m working with so far. The back features a wraparound with the stars motif and I’ve got some ideas for the inside that I just need to work out the logistics of for the inside. I’m pretty sure that I’m going to be making the package from scratch.
I truly have no idea what I’m doing with this and I’m sure I’m biting off more than I can chew. I mean, when’s the last time I bought a CD? Like November of 2004 (Stevie Wonder’s The Definitive Collection). But I’m determined to score an A on this assignment because I REALLY need it. Moreover, how crappy am I gonna feel if I get a lousy grade on an assignment that also happens to be an extension of my identity; linking my musicianship to my illustration? Exactly.
